What should I do if my AC is blowing warm air intermittently?

Intermittent warm air usually points to a refrigerant leak, drainage issue, restricted airflow (dirty filter/coils), or a control/electrical fault. Try these quick checks before calling:

  • Set thermostat to Cool and Auto.
  • Replace or clean the filter.
  • Clear debris from the outdoor unit.
  • Look for ice on lines or water at the air handler.
  • Check the AC breaker. If it continues, our NATE-certified techs provide on-site diagnosis and 24/7 emergency AC repair in Roanoke and Rocky Mount. We won’t leave until your A/C is safe to run.
